"Pleasantly surprised by this place! I work in the area and asked a colleague for a lunch recommendation nearby that wouldn’t be too touristy/expensive. This place definitely fit the bill! Food and service both great, and we really liked the pleasant laidback atmosphere. The waiters are regular Roman waiters, they might joke around with you and might not be overly friendly, but they’re efficient and were kind enough to us. The picture is of a tomino over radicchio which I want to highly recommend!"

"Great dinner. We are staying close and we’re excited to find this traditional, local trattoria. I had cheese ravioli with sage butter sauce. We shared chicory greens, tiramisu and a half liter of very good house wine. My husband had a sambuca. The price was fair, not cheap. We will definitely return."

"This is a really good, kind of local restaurant. It’s not fancy, it’s not expensive, it serves very good, authentic Roman dishes. The service is friendly, and not obsequious (just right). I have eaten there twice and it seems I was the only non-Italia in the place - i think it’s a good sign."

"I enjoyed a great meal perfectly spaced and served with a friendly smile. The cheese platter was surprising and balanced. I had a Sicilian Cod dish afterwards. Everything cracking fresh. This is one to remember and revisit. So much more to experience here. Congratulations"

"We always try to end our visit on the last day in Rome at Piazza Navona. Since this is the case, we always try to have La Fiammetta as our last meal since it's a 3-minute walk from the Piazza. And it never disappoints. The staff is gracious. The food is plentiful. The wine flows freely. And the pasta is unparalleled. I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone to La Fiammetta. I know I'll be back!"
